Margaret Ann Long, 70, of Orange, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2015, in Orange.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend W.W. Smith. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm- 8:00pm, Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, on February 16, 1945, she was the daughter of Doug Harper and Doris (Goodwin) Harper. Margaret was a member of Pinehurst Pentecostal Church and the Eagles Lodge 2523 in Orange.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James E. Harper; nephew, Christopher Allan Fincher; and her longtime companion, Ricky Meyers.

Margaret is survived by her children, Donna Rawlinson, of Beaumont, Texas, Melissa Eicher and husband, Terry, of Bremen, Georgia and Keith Garsee, of New York, New York; grandchildren, Dylan Garsee and Olivia Rawlinson; sister, Melody Harper Fincher and husband Joe, of Orange, Texas; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Margaret’s caretakers, Becky Lebleu, Barbara Murray, Geneva Herman, Veronica Guillory, and Carol, Wade, and James with Gentiva Hospice.
