Margaret Ozel Sharp Leleaux, 76, of West Orange, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at the temporary location of Claybar Funeral Home, 1408 W. Park Ave., the former Park Ave. Methodist Church building, in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Millner, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in West Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Born in Lufkin on November 22, 1931, Mrs. Leleaux was the daughter of Luther M. and Marguerite Fuller Sharp. She was a former resident of Lufkin and had lived in West Orange for about 25 years.
Mrs. Leleaux was a homemaker and had also worked for 17 years as a nurse's aid at Jones Nursing Home.
Preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Rebecca Wyatt, Mrs. Leleaux is survived by her husband, Albert L. Leleux of West Orange; sisters, Frances Waller of Buna, Wanda Trumble of West Orange, Jean Lesher of Mauriceville, Peggy Sharp of Mauriceville; aunt, Norma Youngblood of Lufkin and numerous nieces and nephews.
