Margaret Inez Sherrill, 92, of Orange, died Monday, February 14, 2011, at The Meadows in Orange.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Keith Royal of Winfree Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home in Bridge City.
Born in Boliver County, Mississippi on January 16, 1919, Margaret was the daughter of William Jefferson Standrod and Ora Belle Woodruff Standrod.
Mrs. Sherrill was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Willie Maude Hutchinson; husbands, Henry Louis Ivy, Carl Ray and Allen M. Sherrill.
She is survived by her son, James Jim Ivy and his wife, Margaret; 3 grandchildren and their spouses, David and Kellie Ivy, Jamie and Bryan Oliphint, John and Tiffany Ivy; 6 great-grandchildren, Luke and Micah Ivy, Jonathan and Daniel Oliphint, Marissa and Dalton Ivy; and several members of Mr. Sherrill?s family and Sandy Ivy.
Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
