Margie Novell Crow, 86, of Orange, Texas, died on July 25, 2009 at Pinehurst Nursing Home.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:30AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Officiating will be Rev. Barry Bradley of First Baptist Church, Orange.
Visitation will also be Monday from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Margie was born on July 6, 1923 in Wood County, Texas. She was the daughter of James Samuel LaRue and Etta Mae Bagby LaRue. Margie was retired from Harris County Credit Union. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orange. Margie loved to cook for her family, and also took joy in gardening and quilting. She loved to travel and enjoyed antiquing. She loved her family dearly.
Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob F. Crow.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Betty Bush and husband, Larry of Orange, Texas and her grandchildren, John David Covey and wife, Mary Ann of College Station, TX, Beth Ann Gathright and husband, Paul of Zachary, LA and five great-grandchildren, Jane and Ellen Covey, Joshua, Jamie and Jesse Gathright. Margie is also survived by two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Texas Hospice, 912 West Cherry, Orange, TX 77630.
