Maria “Lucy” DeLaLuz Belmonte, 70, of Beaumont, passed away on August 14, 2019, in Beaumont.
Born in McAllen, Texas, on October 13, 1948, she was the daughter of Rafael Lopez and Mercedes Castro Lopez. Lucy loved to talk and visit with her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing to good music, and laughing every chance she got. Lucy will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Mercedes Lopez; and sister, Christina Cantu.
She is survived by her loving husband José Santos Belmonte; and siblings, Norma Lopez of Houston, Mayela Salcido of Monterrey, Mexico, Lydia Morales of Lewisville, and Martha Lopez of Edinburg.
