Marie Doucet

Marie Doucet, 87, died on December 7, 2008 in Port Arthur. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Bridge City. Reverend Steven Leger will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Mrs. Doucet was born on March 13, 1921, in Rayne, LA.. She was a homemaker and helped at the Soup Kitchen. She was also a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Bridge City and the Eagles Club. She is preceded in death by her son, John Doucet and daughter, Mable Clement.
She is survived by her children L.J. Doucet and wife Pat of Bridge City; Steve Doucet and wife Mary of Bridge City; Pat Brown of Winnie and Bud Doucet and wife Rhonda of Bridge City; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Lance, Loren, Laine, Colby, Travis, Todd, Eric and Alden Doucet.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.
