I just came across this today and it took my breath away. We did not keep in touch over the long years, but Mark was one of my most favorite friends in high school, and he picked me up in his little truck with the big bass music every single day of school. He was my ride to and from school, and also my band mate and close friend, as I spent lots of time watching silly movies at his house as a teen. We lived in the same neighborhood and I loved him as a friend. It’s amazing how 30 years later it has affected me so strongly to read he is gone. Rest easy, funny guy! I wish didn’t lose touch.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Mark and I have been friends for several years. He was always there to cheer me or for me to vent to. He called me his lil sister and I called him My Guardian Angel on Earth. He was always looking out for everyone he cared about. I’ll miss our chats and fussing about LSU lol. Love always your lil sis

Dear Mark,Rest in peace you were much loved. One day we will get to do all those things we dreamt about.:purple_heart::yellow_heart:, SabrinaWhen the rain is blowing in your faceAnd the whole world is on your caseI could offer you a warm embraceTo make you feel my loveWhen the evening shadows and the stars appearAnd there is no one there to dry your tears I could hold you for a million years To make you feel my loveI know you haven't made your mind up yetBut I will never do you wrong I've known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue I'd go crawling down the avenue No, there's nothing that I wouldn't do To make you feel my loveThe storms are raging on the rolling sea And on the highway of regret The winds of change are blowing wild and free You ain't seen nothing like me yet I could make you happy, make your dreams come true Nothing that I wouldn't do Go to the ends of the Earth for you To make you feel my love To make you feel my love
