Dougherty and Frederick get-to-gathers. Wayne and Verna's kids and Tobe and Peggy's kids (Frank, Elva, Donna and Arthur) eating a huge watermelon right out of Wayne's garden! Also remember homemade ice cream after a wonderful lunch or supper. Wayne always had a warm smile on his face!! So sorry to hear he has passed. I know he's in a beautiful place with his God. My Great Uncle Wayne and Aunt Verna were always one of my favorite couples to visit. As a young child the couple always melted my heart every time I stepped foot into their home. Uncle Wayne always greated me with the biggest smile and hug. He always made me feel like I was receiving special attention and deserved every bit of it. Aunt Verna always made the VERY BEST popcorn balls and would offer treats and she is still just as sweet today. I love you both very much and think of you often though I am far away and can not visit as I wish I could. My prayers continue for all my cousins and family for healing and love to pour out in this difficult time. - Jenny Mae
