Beyond the golf course, she cherished moments spent with her family, always seeking their presence and love. Her seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, affectionately calling her "Nana" and showering her with adoration.

A woman of unwavering faith, Martha was one of the earliest members of Cove Baptist Church. Her commitment to her beliefs was evident in the way she lived each day with kindness and compassion.

We are so very sorry for the families loss! She was a very sweet lady for sure! We always had such a good time at the Super Bowl party at Mac and Charlotte Guillory’s house with Stan and Martha! When she worked at Dr. Mazzola’s office, she always asked how everyone was and would go out of her way to get you help or get you that appointment if it was urgent! I know she is happy to be back with Stan! Thinking of you all with our deepest sympathies and prayers! Love Jerry and Denise Caillier

I thought a lot about what word best described Aunt Jean and I settled on a “Rock”. She was born during the depression, which resulted in her 6-person family living in a tent and one room in an attic in Orange. She and her younger sister (my mom) walked to school everyday is some very bad conditions. Jean married Tunk her high school sweetheart and raised 3 great daughters, while normally working a full-time job. Once she retired, she and Tunk continued to golf and did a bit of traveling before he contracted Alzheimer’s. Jean immediately became Tunk’s chauffeur, advocate and caretaker. She set by his bed for almost 8 years playing solidary, making sure his every need was met, watching golf, and communicating with her ever growing family through her trusty iPad. During that time period, she also stood by her daughters as each of them lost their husbands to tragedy and diseases way to young. In late 2020 and early 2021, she lost Tunk, her sister-in-law and my mom in a 3-month span, which would have cratered anyone that did not have a strong faith in God. Jean survived another 3 years, most of the time in great pain due to her back issues (from golfing) and numerous falls, but she never lost faith in her God and looked forward to every day that she could spend time with her daughters and their growing families. Aunt Jean is the true case of someone that came from very merger financial means, whose faith in God and love of her immediate and extended family made her a huge success in every way. She will be greatly missed, but I know she is so HAPPY to be reunited with her parents, siblings, beloved Tunk and sons-in-law. Jean, thanks for a life well lived! You truly Rocked it! PS: Hall family, sorry I cannot be with you during this difficult time, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sorry to hear about your Mom. She was so active in our youth; I recognized her before I saw her name in the obituary. I feel like she helped raise us at Oates Elementary.
