Martha Jackson Lester

Martha Lester, 86, of Beaumont was born June 8, 1932 in Beaumont and passed away Sept.16, 2018 at Oakwood Manor in Vidor.

Martha lived most of her life in Beaumont and was a proud graduate of French High School class of 1950. In her earlier life, Martha worked as an X-Ray Technician at Baptist Hospital and as a draftswoman with Dollinger Steel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Lester, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Andrus and husband, Tommy; step-daughters, Annette Hodges and husband, Rusty, Michelle Henry and husband, Mark; 9 grandchildren, Angela, Mark T, Milissa, Matt, Mike, Jason, Jeremy, Angela, TJ, ; and 10 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Tyler, Jack, Dominic, Drake, Trent, Ella, Raelyn, Brently; brother, Gene Jackson; and beloved Boston Terrier, Dakota.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to present and former staff members of Oakwood Manor for the loving care and support they provided Martha over the past years.
