Mary Annabelle Thibodeaux Mitchell
Funeral services for Mary Annabelle Mitchell of China, Texas will be Monday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins funeral home in the Charles S. Kelley Chapel with Rev. Ken Cromeans of Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Colleyville, TX officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake, TX. Visitations will be Sunday, at the funeral home between 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, one hour prior to service time.
Mrs. Mitchell was born January 16, 1924, in Junction, Texas to William Andrew and Lillie Lee and passed away July 6, 2007 in Beaumont, Texas. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 75 of Sour Lake, loved animals, supported the SPCA, working with electronics, and photography.
Those left to cherish her memory are son, Nelson Thibodeaux and wife Jamie of Colleyville; grandchildren, Skye Thibodeaux of Las Colinas, Raven Thibodeaux of Colleyville, Milton Dixon of Beaumont, Terry Lynn Corbell of Beaumont, Rachel Cox of Lumberton; her great grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Ingram of Winnsboro, LA, Lillie Dailey of Winnie, TX, and Frances Burgess of Hamshire;and brother, Ray Buster Lee of Houston. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Nelson Thibodeaux, Sr., second husband Arthur A. Son Mitchell, daughter, Betty Jean LeBert, brothers, Fred Lee, Johnny Lee, and William Bill Lee.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Mrs. Mitchell?s caregivers; Ruthie Mae Guidry, Gwen Jones, Betty Brazel and a special friend of the family, Detective Ruth Ann Boles of the Jefferson County Sheriff?s Department.
