Mary Inez Carson

Funeral services for Inez Carson, 88, of Beaumont will be held at Claybar Kelly Watkins on Wednesday October 24, 2007 at 12:00 PM. Viewing also available on Tuesday, 5:00PM - 8:00 PM.
Inez was born in Mabank, Texas and graduated from Texas Women?s University. She taught elementary school in the Beaumont Independent School District for 35 years at Caldwood, Amelia, Sally Curtis and Regina Howell Elementary. Inez volunteered at the Art Museum, CASA, Baptist Hospital and Buckner?s. She was a Sunday school teacher at Trinity United Methodist Church and a founding member of Christ Community Church. She was married to Jack M Carson, attorney at law, for 36 years.
Survivors include her sister Nettie Lee Litzler, brother RA Baxley, stepson Jack Carson, daughter Nancy Duncan, son Bill Carson, granddaughters Texie Nash, Mary Duncan, Caron Carson, grandsons Max Duncan, Rob Duncan, Rush Carson, Ben Carson, great granddaughters Leslie Davis Nash, Claudia Duncan, and great-grandsons Casper Martin, Sebastian Duncan, Duncan Nash, Jon Nash and Dylan Nash.
