Mary Louise Havens, 93, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Village Creek Nursing and Rehab Center in Lumberton.
The family will receive friends for visitation at noon on Monday, November 27, 2017 followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee.
Born in Abbeville, Louisiana on June 1, 1924, she was the daughter of Henry Pitrey and Lucille (LeBlanc) Meyers. She retired from the Lumberton School District working in food services for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Lumberton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Mary was preceded in death by her sons, Lawrence Landry and Jeffrey Landry and is survived by her husband, John D. Havens; daughters, Theresa Brougham, Judy Landry, Diana Long and her husband, David; son, Russell “Rusty” Landry and his wife, Sharon; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
