Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Old Shiloh Cemetery in Mt. Enterprise, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Mt. Enterprise, Texas, on December 28, 1934, she was the daughter of Hubert Davis Hudman and Martha Elizabeth Johns Hudman. On January 27, 1953, Marry married James Sanches and had one child, Elizabeth Ann, born December 6, 1953. Mary led a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many. Throughout her career, she worked as an insurance agent for American National. Beyond her professional life, Mary was deeply involved in various passions and interests. She dedicated her time to the Write Way Prison Ministries. As a devoted member of Memorial Baptist Church in Baytown, Mary's presence was felt in the nursery as she cared for the little ones and in the choir where her voice lifted spirits high. After moving to Orange, she joined Little Cypress Baptist Church where her commitment to her Sunday School Class was unwavering. In her younger years, Mary's competitive spirit led her to actively participate in sports such as softball and volleyball, and she also enjoyed boating with her husband, Jack Williams. Even as she aged gracefully, she continued to stay active and embraced her love for playing golf with her husband, Webster Brinkley, and watching baseball - with a special fondness for the Astros and Texas Rangers. One of Mary's greatest joys was tending to her yard; it bloomed under her care into a beautiful haven admired by all who beheld it. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her loving nature touched the lives of those around her. Mary will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jack Williams; her husband of 8 years, Webster Brinkley; her parents, Hubert and Martha Hudman; her brother William Hudman; and her sister, Betty Joyce Perryman Powers.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Turner and husband, David; her grandchildren, Daniel Turner and wife, Kayla, and Deborah Dorband and husband, Dustin; her great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Olivia Turner, Lucy Wilson, and Kyle and Nate Dorband; her step-daughter, Shahana Truell and husband, Josh, and their children, Bryce, Jenna, and Julia Truell; her siblings, James Hudman, Robert Hudman and wife, Margaret, Carlton Hudman and wife, Linda, Troy Hudman, and Michael Hudman and wife, Gail; 14 nephews; 11 nieces; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Mary was one of my first friends at Memorial Baptist. She was kind, generous, and always willing to help. We were blessed to include her in our family when she married my uncle, Webster Brinkley. Mary was loved by many and will be missed.

Mary and Jack were my beloved next door neighbors in Baytown. She and I shared the love of plants, trading and planting along our shared fence line. Her devotion to GOD was unstoppable and instilled her beliefs in me. She has been and always will be close to my heart.
