Mary Beth Watson, 83, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010, in Silsbee.
Funeral Services will be Friday, August 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow at 5:00 p.m. at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin, TX.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 5 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watson was born January 26, 1927, in Joaquin, Texas to Earl Smith and Dorothy Bryan Hill Hanson. She was a loving mother, who raised seven children in Joaquin. For 30 years she lived in Anchorage, Alaska and later moved to Beaumont Texas, where she lived for 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Grey; son, Ronald Hitt; husband, James Watson; her parents and sister, Marie Traylor.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lana Dailey of Anchorage, AK; sons, Earl Hitt and wife, Gay of Forsythe, GA, David Hitt and wife, Lisa of Beaumont; Bryan Hitt and wife, Cindi of Simi Valley, CA, and Mark Hitt of Beaumont; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
