To my Aunt Masako who I loved dearly, you will always hold a special place in my heart along with Uncle Woody. With my father being in the Air Force, we didn't have many close family relationships with our Japanese relatives. The only Aunt I ever got to know was my Aunt Masako and I'm grateful for the few times they visited us to be able to have the precious memories that I will always cherish. My heart is with my cousins Shane and Regina who are the most blessed and loving children to have had my Aunt and Uncle as their parents. As hard as it is to say goodbye to our parents, my only solace is that Masako and Woody are eternally reunited with each other and they left a beautiful legacy to carry on their love and grace through their children, grandchildren, family and friends. Holding you all close in my heart, love, your cousin Sheri in AZ.

To all of you.... your mother was one special lady. I see her smile and remember her laughter. As a neighbor, she and Tom were fabulous.... and fun. Bless each of you, may your own personal memories warm your hearts. Sending prayers and hugs. Love, sindet

To the family of our dear friend and old neighbor Micky: she was always so ambitious-getting up early and making HER side of the bed while your Dad still slept, mowing the lawn AND the cul de sac circle while the neighbor guys were all reluctantly figuring out whose turn. She’s have it done! Left overs at your house meant the Gier’s ate homemade Asian cuisine . And when we got a chance to go to Germany, who babysat my 4 girls? Your dear parents. I enjoyed her interesting stories about Japan at my kitchen table. She was remarkable and kind and how she loved you Shane and Regina.
