Mathew Walter Jr.

Mathew Walter, Jr., 64, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on October 1, 2020, in Orange, Texas.

Born in Orange, Texas on December 27, 1955, he was the son of Mathew Walter, Sr. and Eliza (Taylor) Walter. Mathew worked as a hydroblaster for several years. He was a big sports fan and enjoyed playing and watching many different kinds of sports. Mathew also enjoyed a good game of spades. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family. Mathew was a bright light to those around him and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliza and Mathew Walter, Sr., and his sister, Mary Walter Rhodes.

He is survived by his fiancé, Richatte Crosson; his stepchildren, Charonikee and Jiron; his grandchildren, Kelan and Keion; as well as his nephews, Nick Colbert and wife Opal, Nathaniel Colbert, and Michael Walter, and 7 great-nieces and 3-great nephews.
