Michael Aslany, 73, of Orange, passed away on July 5, 2020.
Born in Athens, Greece, on April 23, 1947, he was the son of John Aslany and Diamond (Tsokou) Aslany. Michael moved to the United States when he was 21 years old and became a business owner, the last being a game room. He enjoyed spending time at the casino playing horses, blackjack and occasionally slots. Michael was a big fan of sports and could always be found watching them on TV. He was an amazing friend to everyone and loved spending time with them. The Greek heritage still stuck with him till his last day here on earth and he became fluent in many different languages including, his favorite Greek, English, and Spanish. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Diamond Aslany; and sister Rena Collins.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Cheryl Aslany of Orange; sons, John Aslany of Orange, Michael Aslany also of Orange, and Milton Frazier of Dallas; grandchildren, Ethan Daniel Aslany and Caleb Thymes.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
