I remember Mike as a kind individual who was always happy and encouraging. He was a heck of an athlete who was always humble about it. My prayers go out to his family during this sad time and wish them a blessed recovery from his loss.

Mike was a best friend as we grew up as neighbors. Never did I ever know him to express a negative thought. One of my favorite conversations was at our 50th Stark High reunion. He talked about his family. When I asked what was one of his most favorite things to have done in his life he replied without hesitation: "Marrying my wife and spending all my years taking care of her." What a blessing ... and what proof of a long life of love. Mike, you certainly will be missed.
