Michael James Theriot
Michael James Theriot, 60, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2015, in Mauriceville.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Monday, July 6, 2015 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm- 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm, Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Abbeville, Louisiana, on April 16, 1955, he was the son of Clevance “Red” Theriot and Dora Ann (Landry) Theriot. Michael graduated from West Orange High School in 1974 and worked at Marine Fueling Service for 40 years. He loved to play pool, and loved his family, especially his daughter and grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Donna Marie Bishop.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Laura Lea Johnson and husband Eddie, of Mauriceville; his grandchildren, Cole and Brice Johnson, also of Mauriceville; his siblings, Carol Ray Theriot and wife Kathy, of Alexandria, Louisiana, Glenn Earl Theriot and wife Marianna, Camille Gallien and husband Keith, all of Orange; his brother-in-law, Jimbo Bishop, also of Orange; and numerous nieces, nephews, god children, other family, friends, and his work family at Marine Fueling.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Gallien, Leon Gallien, Keith Gallien, Matthew Broussard, Scott Koci, and Ricky Keltz. . Honorary pallbearers are Cole Johnson, Brice Johnson, and Jimbo Bishop.

Michael’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at New Century Hospice, especially Tasha, Tiffany, and David.
