Mike Adams, 67, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 4, 2020, in Orange.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Brother Rob Tibbets, of Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Nibblets Bluff Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Jasper, Texas, on September 12, 1952, he was the son of Harold Adams and Alice (Williams) Adams. Mike retired as a mechanic for Orange County Road and Bridge. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, barbequing, and also loved hot rods. Mike was an all-around good person, very strong willed, and never liked to lose an argument. He was a family man through and through, a wonderful husband and father, and his greatest blessings called him “PawPaw”. Mike will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Alice Adams; loving wife of 40 years, Abigail Adams; granddaughter, Alyssa Adams; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Hager, Danny Swarers, and Emmerson Navarre.
Mike is survived by his sons, Lawrence Adams and wife Christina, of Ohio and Eric Adams and wife Kim, of Buna; grandchildren, Khristopher Adams, Taylor Adams, Hunter Adams and fiancé Faith Havens, Lane Adams, Faith Adams, and Kayden Adams; and his siblings, Shiela Navarre, Paul Adams, and Vita Swarers; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kristopher Adams, Daniel Watkins, Jeremy Dicharry, Andrew Jeanise, Lane Adams, and Hunter Adams.
