Mildred Brown, 79, was born November 25, 1932 in Opelousas, LA to Willie and Estelle Meyers Guillory and passed away July 11, 2012 in Kountze, TX surrounded by her loving family. The family is planning a memorial service at a later date. Mrs. Brown was a long time resident of China since 1961 prior to moving to Kountze in 1995.
Mildred is survived by her children, Terry Brown and wife, Ginger, Kenneth Brown and wife, Diane, Kevin Brown, Dianna Brown, Lisa Lacomb and her husband, Jeff; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Don Guillory and numerous nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Leroy Brown; her brother, Nelson Guillory and her sister, Jean Whitman.
The family also wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff and nurses of Altus Hospice for the care and compassion provided to their mother.
