Born in Broaddus, Texas on November 16, 1920, Mrs. Brimlow was a resident of Beaumont for 66 years. She was a graduate of Chenier Business School in Beaumont. For many years, she and her husband, the late Paul Brimlow, worked together in the real estate business. Both were brokers and appraisers. Her business motto was, ?Be it ever so humble, own it.?
Married for 56 years, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Brimlow and her sister, Mrs. Louise Sterling.
She is survived by family and friends including her daughters, Patrice Brimlow and Deborah Brimlow, both of Houston, and son-in-law Robert Williams of Houston; beloved nephew Joel Sterling of Beaumont; step-grandchildren Jessica and Kari Williams of Sugarland. She was especially close to her neighbor Mrs. Debbie Fontenot and children Tessa and Dugan Fontenot of Beaumont.
Special thanks to Some Other Place and the Meals on Wheels Program for their support as well as all her friends and neighbors who watched out for her. She would often say that she was part of a wonderful group of neighbors and friends. For those who wish to send flowers or make a donation, Mrs. Brimlow loved the color purple and would have wanted Some Other Place to be a recipient of any donations.
