Mildred Mary Leger, 95, longtime resident of Orange, TX, passed away July 2, 2021, in Lufkin, TX.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
She was born March 1, 1926, in Arnaudville, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Zula Gilbeau Fruge and Edward Lastie Fruge. Mildred was a clerk for the state of Texas for many years. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and was wonderful at sewing. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Zula and Edward Fruge; husband, Al LeBlanc; daughter, Debra L. Dean; and sisters, Sylvia Moran and Gloria Wade.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Larry Dane Leger and wife Lucy, Lonnie Dale Leger and fiancé Phyllis Liddle Kohler; sister; Lou Ravencraft; grandchildren, Brad Dean (Rachelanne), Dana Kring (Jacob), Chris Leger (Corina), Rachel Leger, Morgan Leger (Mami), and Bryan Leger (Ashley); and 4 great grandchildren.
Honoring Mildred as pallbearers are Larry Dane Leger, Lonnie Dale Leger, Brad Dean, Chris Leger, Morgan Leger, and Bryan Leger.
