Mildred Mary “Millie” Lemoine, 83, of Bridge City, died Sunday, August 25, 2013, at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Bridge City with Reverend Steve Leger officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, with a Cursillo Rosary at 6:30 p.m. lead by Ron Jackson.
Born in Garden City, Louisiana, on August 24, 1930, Millie was the daughter of O’Niell Anthony and Marie Frances (Schexnayder) Gauthier. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Millie was a faithful and active member of her church and community. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed being with and meeting new friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O’Niell Anthony and Marie Frances (Schexnayder) Gauthier; and brothers, O’Niell, Charles, and Johnny Gauthier.
Millie is survived by her husband, Louis Lemoine of Bridge City; and her children and their spouses, Jody and Wendie Lemoine of Bridge City, Jada and David Smith of Buna, Jana Lemoine of Bridge City, Jude and Lisa Lemoine of Bridge City, and June and Ricky Badon of Liberty Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Joshua, and Jacob Lemoine, Zachary, Kendall, and Cooper Badon, Mary Smith, and Laura Jones; her sister, Janice Menard of Bridge City; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jordan Lemoine, Joshua Lemoine, Jacob Lemoine, Zachary Badon, Kendall Badon, and Cooper Badon.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice in Millie’s name.

I met Mrs. Lemoine at a football game in Liberty Hill last fall. She was there supporting her family, cheering for those Badon boys. She had such a sweet and loving personality. Prayers and hugs to all of her family. I know she will be missed by many.

When I first came to Orange in 1996, this was the first lady I met at the LSCO Bookstore! Her smile and energy was contagious!! Her million dollar personality will be missed by soooooo many!! WELCOME HOME MILDRED 08-25-2013 I took a ride down Meek"s drive where the bodies of Maw and Paw now reside. I was drawn in this direction not by their bodies, but by their spirit.
