Myra Jane Taylor Hutto, 74, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Mauriceville, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Brown. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Lexington, Mississippi, on November 23, 1942, Myra was the daughter of Thomas Ruthven Taylor and Fannie Sue Harrison Taylor. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mauriceville as well as their Senior’s class. She enjoyed reading, visiting with her sister, watching her shows, taking family vacations, and camping. She had a green thumb and loved her plants, and enjoyed visiting local nurseries with her husband. Myra loved spending time with her family and always made sure her children were taken care of. She will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Fannie Taylor; son, Eren Clay Hutto; and 3 brothers, Tommy, Mike, and Mark Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill Hutto; children, Debra Lynne East, of Mauriceville, Denise Smith and husband J.Wade, of Brookeland, Danielle Zaruba and husband Robin, of Kingwood, Lance Hutto, of Buna, and Justin Hutto and wife Suzy, of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Craig Hoffpauir, Chad Hoffpauir, Tasha Hoffpauir, Morgan Smith, Aleksandra Zaruba, Casey Zaruba, Jacob Zaruba, Hunter Hutto, Hannah Hutto, Heather Hutto, Taylor Hutto, Josey Hutto, Jenna Hutto, and Tyler Hutto; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sue Wilson, of Pensacola, FL and Wanda Reeser and husband Dennis, of San Francisco, CA.
Serving as pallbearers will be Craig Hoffpauir, Chad Hoffpauir, Hunter Hutto, Tyler Hutto, Casey Zaruba, and Jacob Zaruba.
