Myrna Marie Bridges
December 12, 1914 — July 14, 2009
Funeral services for Myrna Marie Bridges, 94, of Beaumont will be held Saturday, July18th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will be Monday, July 20th, at 10:00 a.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas. A gathering of friends and family will be Friday, July 17 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bridges was born December 12, 1914 in Blackwell, OK to Charles Edgar and Lula M. Mayse Foudray and passed away July 14, 2009 in Beaumont. She had resided in Beaumont for 20 years and was a former resident of Corpus Christi. She was a devoted Christian and faithful member Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She loved Jesus, reading, studying, teaching the Bible and playing golf.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Bridges and son, Billy D. Bridges. Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law,
Jerry E. and Nina Bridges of Beaumont; three grandchildren, Karen Ann Farr, John Stuart Bridges, Mark Andrew Bridges; and seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Farr, Shannon Farr, Luke Bridges, Seth Bridges, Cailyn Grace Bridges, Hannah Bridges and Matthew Bridges.
