Funeral services for Myron Trevathan, 56, of Lumberton, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008, in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home officiated by Chaplain Rocky Greverro. Burial will follow with a Graveside Service at 2:30 p.m. in the Walker Cemetery in Lufkin, TX. There will be a Visitation on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Myron was born on December 11, 1951, to Charles and Pauline Trevathan, and passed away on December 28, 2007, at Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a 1970 graduate of French High School and enjoyed fishing, hunting and a love for classic cars. He was a pipe fitter with Goldcrest Electric Company and a member of Pipefitters Local 195.
Preceded in death by his father Charles E. ?Mutt? Trevathan, he is survived by his mother, Polly Trevathan; sons, Sean Trevathan, Jason Trevathan and is wife, Shanna; daughters, Amber and Shannon Trevathan; grandchildren, Madeline and Abigail Trevathan and Kinsley Moore all of Lumberton and two aunts, Nell Griggs and Irene Schoolcraft, both of Lufkin.
He is also survived by the mother of his children, Susan Trevathan and his companion, Valarie Amburn.
