Myrtle Marie Duval, 83, of Bridge City, passed away, Thursday, February 7, 2008, at her residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2008, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Reverend Jim McClintock to officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City.
Myrtle was born March 15, 1924, in Port Arthur to Adolph and Annette Landry Courtois.
Mrs. Duval was a homemaker and a member of the Legion of Mary and of St. Henry's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Duval, son, Ronnie Duval and grandson, Scott Duval.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jack Duval and wife Janice of Bridge City, Albert Duval and wife Jacquie of Port Arthur, Robert Duval and wife Diana of Nederland, Linda Clark and husband Jim of Bridge City and Dennis Duval and wife Rhonda also of Bridge City; grandchildren, Gilbert Morvant, Becky Jones, Missy Stephenson, Tammy Sonnier, Bernie Montgomery, Vanessa Ancelot, Dennis Anthony Duval, David Duval, Silver Duval, Sami Duval, Megan LeBlanc, Katie Richard, James Duval, Lucas Duval, Johanna Strother, Joel Duval, Jason Duval, Mandy Cook, Michael Robinson and Jamie Clark; thirty four great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Cleere of Huntsville, AL and brother, Murphy Courtois and wife Dot of Bogalusa, LA.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Duval, Lucas Duval, Gilbert Morvant, Josh Duval, Dennis A. Duval and Chris Franklin. Honorary pallbearer will be Jamie Clark.
