Nancy’s children and grandchildren were her whole world and her greatest pride and joy. She always went above and beyond and loved unconditionally. She loved her family dearly and was a beautiful person inside and out who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nancy Kelley was the best of the very best. I was fortunate to have her as my manager at Players Casino many years ago. On my interview she said, if you’re sick- bring your medicine. I thought, oh my gosh, what an I getting myself into. She turned out to be the most loving, caring, kind, sympathetic, enthusiastic and beautiful lady I came to love and admire. She loved her girls and her precious Clay. You were all she ever spoke about. Family came first. Fly high beautiful Nancy. You will never be forgotten. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Love, Meryl-Sue Reed

The sweetest, kindest, most beautiful girl in the class of 1962! That was Nancy Jo. She was our mistress of ceremonies at the Lutcher Stark 50th class reunion. Still our cheerleader! Fond memories of senior girls slumber party in 1962. Pushing a car away from Nancy's home and riding across the river to drive on the old bridge through the swamp. Scary! We were stopped at the circle in Orange by the local police. Nancy Jo batted her "big blues" and away we went! She said she would unpack her memory boxes for our class reunion. Well, we shall unpack our memory boxes and enjoy those great times we all shared with Nancy. Our deepest sympathy to her devoted family and her dearest friends, including Kay Stone and Barbara Duffner. Sally Ragland Townsend Class of 1962

I met this beautiful woman while working at the Chamber SWLA in Lake Charles. Everyone, who ever worked with her there, will agree with me that she graced the halls of the Chamber with class and style. Soft spoken, with those big eyes, her precious smile, her hair and clothing attire were always impeccable. She and I once traveled together to Dallas, along with other members of the Leader in Me program. Highly respected by those who attended by her organizational skills and desire to make this program a success. Such a sweet friend and great memories of working with her. My prayers to her children who she always spoke highly of. RIP my dear friend.
