Neisha Michele Hamilton, 51, of Mauriceville, passed away on June 8, 2020, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Officiating will be Kevin Brown. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at First Baptist Church in Mauriceville.
Born in Houston, Texas, on November 22, 1968, she was the daughter of Rodney Earl Smith and Theodora Sullivan. Neisha was married to her high school sweetheart, Tim for 33 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Neisha had a gift of showing compassion and empathy for others by continually serving those in need however she could. She was full of hope, joy, peace and happiness which came from knowing Christ.
Neisha was passionate about being a mother, never missing a school function, extracurricular activity and always being present in her children’s lives throughout every endeavor. She had a deep love for animals, flowers, and gardening. Neisha was a talented cook and baker, always providing in abundance for her family. She was an extraordinary person, a faithful wife, a nurturing mother, and a loyal friend. Neisha showed unwavering strength, courage, and commitment during her battle with breast cancer and all throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Theodora Sullivan.
She is survived by her loving husband, George Timothy “Tim” Hamilton; children, Laken Hamilton of Bridge City, and Caleb Hamilton of Mauriceville; her father, Rodney Smith and his wife Diane; and two sisters, Brandi Stutts and Crystal Gentry.
