Nell Self

Nell Self, 83, of Orange, died, Monday, December 17, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Bridge City.
Officiating will be Reverend Dale Lee of The Cowboy Church, Reverend Ed Rawls of Silver Oaks Baptist Church and Reverend Bob Boone of First Baptist Church of Bridge City. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Mrs. Self was born June 20, 1924, in Palestine, Texas, the daughter of Claude William and Sallie V. Anderson Nicholson.
Nell was a homemaker and very active throughout her life in the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Clyde M. Self, her parents, Claude and Sallie Nicholson and brother, John C. Nicholson.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeannie Juneau and Debbie Kosh and husband Steve, all of Bridge City; grandchildren, Paris Stetkiw and husband Greg, Camille Juneau, Lisa McGee and husband Mike, Stephen Kosh Jr., and Michael Kosh; great grandchildren, Gabbi and Gavin Stetkiw, Trevor and Dylan McGee and Landon Kosh.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Kosh, Stephen Kosh, Jr., Stephen Kosh, Sr., Mike McGee, Greg Stetkiw and Gerald Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Zelton Beall.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Odyssey Hospice, her neighbors, Shirley Goats and Elsie Young and all of her friends for their love and attention to Nell.
