Nettie Lucille Hebert 90, of Bridge City Texas passed away on March 3, 2021 at her grandson’s home in Bevil Oak, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Chaplain Scooter of Altus Hospice. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Groves, Texas.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.
Nettie’s grandchildren will be cooking a meal at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Citrus Cove in the Community Room and would like to invite anyone who loved their grandmother to attend.
Born in Crowley, Louisiana December 21, 1930 she was the daughter of Lilie Landry and Ceril Landry of Groves, Texas. Nettie was a wonderful inspiration to her family and still is. She was a dedicated Christian and put God first. She adored her family very much. She was the voice of reason and wise guidance when anyone needed it. Her loved one’s friends and family alike will dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lilie and Ceril Landry, her husband Felix R Hebert, her brothers Louie Landry Robert Landry and Billy Landry, her sister Mary Louise Landry, her son Eddie Istre, her daughter Lucy Casey, and her grandsons David Istre and Jeremy Cogar, and Granddaughter Skye Cogar.
She is survived by her children Debbie Istre Smith of Huffman Texas, Rosemary McClanahanan, Felix C. Hebert of Bridge City, Texas, Louise Hebert of Bevil Oaks; her grandchildren, Melissa Estrello, Kevin Guillot, Christine Guillot Brown, Julie Anderson, Ashley McClanahanan, Billy Cogar, Charles Casey, Nathan Casey, Jon Istre, Howard Istre, Sherry Adams, and Felix J. Hebert; 20 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous other family members.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Guillot, Billy Cogar, Felix C. Hebert, Felix J. Hebert, Eric Brown, and Daniel Brown.
Honorary pallbearers are Jon Istre, Howard Istre, Rodney Brown, and Jeremy Cogar Jr.
