Born in Orange, Texas, on March 22, 1941, he was the son of Wilbur Jesse Foreman and Vergie Mae Foreman. Nolan was a vibrant presence whose life was marked by talent, humor, and love for family and friends. Nolan's education began at Stark High School, where he proudly graduated in 1959. He went on to attend Texas A&M University, joining the A&M Corps, which laid the foundation for his sense of discipline and dedication. However, he made the selfless decision to return home to care for his family, a testament to his character and commitment to those he loved. His military service in the United States Marine Corps from 1962 to 1965 was a highlight in Nolan's life. As a proud Marine, he was not only a member of the boxing team but also completed a deployment in Okinawa. These experiences shaped him into the tough and strong individual he would be known as throughout his life. Nolan's career was spent at Dupont, where he worked from 1965 until his retirement in 2001. Throughout his 36 years there, he took immense pride in being a part of the Dupont family, cherishing the connections and experiences he cultivated along the way. Outside of his professional life, Nolan was known for his larger-than-life personality. His friends often referred to him as "Super Stud," a nickname that captured his wit, humor, and charisma. There was also a family legend that Nolan’s eyebrows gave him super strength like Samson from the Bible. Nolan's lively spirit was matched only by his warmth and thoughtfulness toward others. He maintained a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures, enjoying fishing, hunting, and cooking, often accompanied by good food and Pearl beer. A fan of Ford Broncos, movies, and music, he filled his days with joy and passion. Nolan's faith was an important aspect of his life as well, having been baptized at the age of seven. His love for family was boundless, and he found immense pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always eager to share stories of their accomplishments and adventures. His love and support left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Nolan Jay Foreman's legacy is one of laughter, strength, and unwavering love. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories that will forever remind us of his extraordinary life.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Jo Foreman; his parents, Wilbur and Vergie Foreman; his daughter, Kim Jinks; and his siblings, Berdie, Edwin, Danny, Lois, Rena, Colbert, and Nona.
