Norma Lee Linder Burge

Norma Lee Linder Burge, 81, of Bridge City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2022, at the Medical Center of SETX in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Kirk Ellender. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Delcambre, Louisiana, on July 10, 1941, she was the daughter of Dalton and Odette Foreman. Norma was a dedicated member of Triumph Church in Nederland. She also was owner of Linder’s Barbeque. Norma loved to be outside and work in her yard. She had a green thumb and was able to grow a yard full of magnificent plants. She also loved attending baseball games and umpiring from the bleachers. Norma was truly loved by her family and friends, and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Linder; her second husband, Robert Burge; and her parents, Dalton and Odette Foreman.

She is survived by her children, Tracy Linder, Tammy Roy and husband, Reagan, Karen Green; stepsons, Wayne Burge and wife Jodye, Ricky Burge; grandchildren, Tyler Roy and Kelsey Roy, Makenzie Green, Gavin Green, J.R. Rife, Chelsey Fisette and husband, Cody, Carlee Linder and Coy Thibodeaux, Chad Linder, Christopher Burge and wife Denyse Howard, Ricky Burge, Jr., Brittany Limbocker and husband Eric, Bonnie Everett and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Brentley Roy, Ben Fisette, Cameron Fisette, Nora Limbocker, Castor Everett, and Kylie Everett; and brother, Kenneth Foreman of Moss Bluff, La.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Roy, Gavin Green, Chad Linder, Steven Foreman, Ricky Burge, and Wayne Burge. Honorary pallbearers are J. R. Rife and Brentley Roy.

Norma was very thoughtful, giving, loving, selfless, and appreciative. She was also fun-loving. We loved playing games with her because it was so much fun.
