Obituary

Norma E. Cummings, 86, of Bridge City, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at her home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Paul Zoch, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bridge City.

A Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Guedry Cemetery in Batson, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home in Bridge City.

Born in Ganado, Texas on May 7, 1927, Norma was the daughter of Otto and Hanna (Biggett) Meyer. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cummings; son, Craig Cummings; daughter, Carla McClelland; and grandson, Joshua Cummings. Norma is survived by her son, Donald R. Cummings; two grandchildren, Jared McClelland and Amanda Adams; three great-grandchildren, Rory and Jordin McClelland and Kiersten Adams; and brother, Harold Meyer.
