Norman G. “Tock” Guillot, 71, of Orange, passed away on August 16, 2021, in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Don Snider. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on May 20, 1950, he was the son of Osvald Guillot and Eda Mae Borque Guillot. Norman was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He took his relationship with God very seriously and faithfully served his Lord. He enjoyed preaching from time to time. His best years were his years working at the Newton Co. Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy. Norman’s heart was pure and bigger than him. He absolutely adored his children & grandchildren and they were his world. He will be deeply missed and remain in his families hearts forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Osvald and Eda Guillot; loving wife, Ramona Guillot; son, Norman Guillot, Jr.; brother, Osvald Guillot, Jr.; sister, Gertrude Bellair; sister-in-law, Ruby Guillot; and brother-in-law, Red Bellair; along with an infant sister.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Guillot Shaver and husband Darrell of Orange; son, Jared Guillot of Bridgeport, Ohio; grandchildren, Jakob Jackson and Kolby Jackson; brothers, Jimmy Guillot and wife Linda of Orange and Norbert Guillot of Orange; sisters, Mary Scales of Orange and JoAnn Posey and husband Darrell of Mauriceville; and sister-in-law, Loulan Guillot; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell Posey, Jr., Danny Posey, A.J. Scales, Damen Guillot, Wesley Cole and Waylon Cates. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Donald Posey, Norbert Guillot, Jimmy Guillot and Joey Guillot.
