Norman Riley Harris, 63, of Orange, died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Millner of Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bridge City.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
Norman was born in Orange, Texas on February 15, 1946, the son of Walter and Viola Blanks Harris. He loved working on computers and loved to communicate with people.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Rosie Harris.
He is survived by his wife, LuEllen Harris; daughter, Wanda Harris of Houston; grandchildren, Crystal Ridgaway, Justin Riley Harris, Crystal Marie Ridgaway; great-grandchild, Aiden Ray Harris; brothers, Walter Harris, Charles Harris and Jimmy Harris; and brother-in-law, Tony Fuselier.
