Nyoka “Grandma” Miller, 76, of Orange, passed away on August 21, 2021, in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Neal.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Columbus, Indiana, on September 1, 1944, she was the daughter of Charles E. Smith and Audrey (Richey) Smith. Nyoka faithfully served her Lord at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and In His Steps Church. She enjoyed going to Bible Study and church and formed many lifelong friendships through her love of God. Nyoka loved reading, playing Bingo, embroidery and doing crosswords puzzles. She will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Audrey Smith; husband, Lawrence Miller; and brother, Joe Smith.

She is survived by her children, Matthew Miller, Ruth Marie White and husband Donnie, Cheryl Sexton, and Sherry Lamely and husband Phil; grandchildren, Rosie Rogers, Crystal Preston and 11 other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Monica Miller, Makayla Preston, Issac Gonzalez, Lulu Gonzalez and 24 other great-grandchildren; sister, Nedra Bonnin; and brothers, Jack Smith and John Smith.
