Odessa Stutz

Funeral services for Odessa Stutz, 91, of Beaumont, TX, will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Pete Hutchinson of Freeway Baptist Church will officiate and Rev. Jeffrey Pitman of Faith Tabernacle will assist. Immediately after the service, she will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday, July 4, between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Stutz was born May 26, 1917 to Jaffa and Emma Spurlock in Barnes, TX and passed away in Beaumont on July 2, 2008. Mrs. Stutz was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Frank Stutz; three brothers, and two grandchildren, Rocky Baxter and Clint McNeil. Those left to cherish her memory are son, O.V. McNeil and wife Carol of Pt Neches, daughter, Dolores Kreger and husband, Bob of Lumberton, daughter, Pat Baxter of Kountze, daughter, Betty Jannise and husband, Dale of Lumberton, and son, Charles Stutz and wife Yvonne of Mauriceville; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and sister, Agnes Bedre of Seabrook.
