Born in Selma, Louisiana, on January 16, 1928, she was the daughter of William Wade Smith and Laura Lenora Smith. Becky always had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to her garden, especially her flowers. She also loved to cook. Her fried shrimp and banana pudding made her family flock to the dinner table. One of Becky’s favorite things was sitting with her family, telling stories and reminiscing. She was an independent woman who lived life on her own terms. Above all else, Becky loved and adored her family; they were her #1 priority. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Raymond Stockton; her sons, Roderick Stockton and Kent Stockton; and her siblings, O. T. Smith, Lonnie Smith, Benard Smith, and Cloate Briggs.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gladys Stockton; her grandchildren, Amanda Neff and husband Chris, Merissa Kelley and husband Logan, Ezekiel Stockton, Danielle Stockton, and Raymond Stockton; her great-grandchild, Mason Neff; and many other beloved family members.
