Ollie Ruth Strong, 91, of Orange, passed away on August 4, 2017, in Beaumont.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, TX.

Born in Orange County, Texas, on March 5, 1926, she was the daughter of Louis Hudnall and Charlie Smith Hudnall. Ollie loved to cook, especially on Sunday while she sang Amazing Grace. She enjoyed her family and being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Paul Strong; siblings; son, Carl Strong; and grandson, Robert Paul Guidry.

She is survived by her children, Esther Burton and husband, Trent, of Colorado, Pauline Warden of Vidor, TX, Paul Strong of Vidor, TX, Floyd Strong and wife, Penny, of Kansas, and Vernon Strong; daughter-in-law, Maria Strong of Bridge City, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
