Ona Faye McClary, 84, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2019.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Officiating will be Pastor Bill Morgan of Calvary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 2:00 p.m.
Born in Hope, Arkansas, on April 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Mack McMillen and Martie (Eblin) McMillen. Ona Faye was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Lady Leader of The Optimist Wives, later on becoming a member of The Optimist Club. She enjoyed knitting and participating in her bowling league. Ona Faye loved the Astros and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and a kind great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all those she was able to leave a mark on.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Martie McMillen; husband Bobby McClary; son, David Goans; and daughter Debra Ainsworth.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew McClary and wife Kim, Scott McClary and wife Anna, Burke McClary, and Calvin McClary; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Margie Sensenich.
