Onelia Ann Cormier, 60, of Orange, passed away on December 13, 2019, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Sister Ruth Burch. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Rayne, Louisiana, on January 8, 1959, she was the daughter of Ashton Thibodeaux and Marie (Meche) Thibodeaux. Onelia was a bus driver for Orangefield Independent School District and also worked at Walmart in Orange for many years. In her spare time she loved to go camping and play Bunco. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything and loved spending time with them. Onelia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ashton Thibodeaux; and her son, Chad Cormier.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Larry Cormier; mother, Marie Thibodeaux; son, Robert Cormier and wife Amber of Orangefield; grandchildren, Brock, Brooke, Sophia, and Chad Cormier; great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Chadlyn, Ethan, and Elizabeth Cormier; siblings, Keith Thibodeaux of Port Neches, and Bob Thibodeaux and wife Margaret of Sugarland; and her god child, Allyson Allen of Branch, Louisiana.
Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Allen, Matt Broussard, Matt Brown, DJ Stelly, Kenny Brones, Toby Foreman, and Billy Fontenot.
