Otto Frank McDivitt

Otto Frank McDivitt, (92), of Orange, TX, passed away on October 12, 2024, after a brief illness. Born on August 11, 1932 in Bradford, PA, the son of the late Jess and Ruth Heidrich McDivitt. He married Mary Ann Bish McDivitt who predeceased him on April 15, 2024. 

After graduating from Port Allegany High School Otto served in the Marines for two terms, including deployment in the Korean War from 1951-1954. He enjoyed bowling and visiting casinos, activities that brought him joy and relaxation. As well as tending to his beloved dog, Macie, who was his constant companion. 

He is survived by daughters, Rhonda (Thomas) Miller and Ruth (Craig) Funk; sons, Timothy and Steven McDivitt; brother, Elmer (Nancy) McDivitt; and sisters, Iona Davis, Connie Schneider, Grace McDivitt, and Cora (Richard) Darrin. 

Otto was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffery and Nelson McDivitt; and siblings, Onalee Dieterle, June, Willis, Joseph, Robert, Ivan, and Jerry McDivitt. 

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
