A Life Remembered
Obituary
A Rosary will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, September 24th, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, TX. Visitation will follow from 1:00-2:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery, Call, TX.
Born in Texarkana, Arkansas, on November 19, 1960, she was the daughter of Donald Edison Hamilton, Jr. and Mary Jane (Thomas) Hamilton. Pam worked as a school librarian for many years, touching the lives of everyone that knew her. She was considered a second mom and even called mom by many of her students and son’s friends. She was employed by Klein ISD in Spring, TX, before moving to Celina, TX where she worked at Celina ISD and eventually retiring as the Middle School Librarian. Earlier in life, Pam worked at MHMR in Port Arthur as she always loved working with children, particularly special needs children, cherishing those years of her life. Her life revolved around her family, with a passion to spend as much time with her grandchildren as she could. She also found great joy in traveling with her husband. Pam was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed forever.
Pam was a Child of God, baptized and raised Catholic and was very close to God as they spoke daily, and she was adamant in raising her sons in a God loving Christian home. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with her son, Jason Donald Tomplait; and nephews, Brandon Fults and Stephen Tomplait.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Randy Tomplait; her father, Donald Hamilton, Jr. and partner Millie Palmer, and mother, Mary Jane Hamilton; her sons, Cade Tomplait and wife Tawnie, and Cody Tomplait; her grandson, Ty Russell and granddaughter Monroe Tomplait; as well as her siblings, Donna Fults and husband David, Jody Hamilton and wife Randa, Angie Cole and husband Phil, and Chris Hamilton and partner Jamie Gore, and numerous nieces and nephews.
