Pastor Mario Alejandro Granados, 58, of Beaumont, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Houston.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland, Texas.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on December 24, 1961 he was the son of Mario Granados, Sr. and Leticia Granados-Sandoval. Mario was a loving husband and father. He was the faithful Pastor of the Templo Poder Y Gozo for 20 years. Mario was a Pastor Alliance board member of the Hispanic Golden Triangle. He was devoted to his faith, preaching the word of God and helping others in their darkest hours. Mario and the church had two radio programs “Radiovida”. The first program “Esto Se trata de Creer” talks about faith and provides prayers for healing and salvation. The second program is “Testimonios de Poder” and it’s about people sharing the word of God and their own powerful personal testimonies. Mario worked with the Somebody Cares Organization and for the “Remendando Corazones” also known as Repairing Hearts. Mario provided prayer and guidance for abused women and families. He loved children and they adored him. Mario was a loving helpful soul who will be missed by many but never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mario Granados, Sr. and Leticia Granados.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Delfina Granados-Banda; children, Mario Alejandro Granados V, Rocio Elizabeth Granados, and Salma Aracely Granados; siblings, Leticia Corral, Rocio Alor, Nahum Granados, Fabiola Granados, Rogelio Granados, Dina Moya, and Eber Granados; as well as his many brothers and sisters in Christ.
