Born in Orange, Texas, on December 24, 1944, she was the daughter of Albert James Ewing and Elizabeth Ann Ewing. Patricia was a dedicated wife and mother. She treasured her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was a devout Catholic and her Faith in the Lord was undeniable. She was such a prankster and loved to laugh and make others smile and laugh. She enjoyed the simple life. She was a strong woman who grew up a tomboy. She was just as comfortable working outside in the yard as she was cooking up Christmas fudge and candy in the kitchen. She was stern in raising four boys, yet in the same breath she was selfless, sweet, kind, and caring. The comfort of her hug would warm your soul. She made the world a little more wonderful every day. She was a woman of many passions. Sewing, quilting, ceramics, and cane pole fishing just to name a few. Decorating for the holidays brought her much joy, especially Christmas. She loved dancing with the love of her life. When she danced with him, they could have danced on water. So smooth not even a ripple. She loved being active in the lives of her kids and grandkids. She loved when she could see, hear, and visit with the people she loved. “Sit long, talk much, laugh often” was her motto. She will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Ewing; and her great-grandbaby, Bristol Perry.
Patricia is survived by her Husband of 55 years, Arthur Anderson, Jr.; Sisters, Janet Anderson and husband Richard, Lee Hinyard and husband Jimmy; Sons, Robert Anderson and wife Anna Maria, Wayne Anderson and wife Debbie, Bryan Anderson and wife Tanya, and Chris Anderson and wife Christine; Grandchildren, Derek Anderson, Ciara Anderson, Riley Anderson, Justin Anderson, Kyle Morgan, Lauren Perkin, Kaitlyn Jones, Caden Anderson, Anthony Anderson, Lucas Anderson, Amira Thomas, and Marcus DeLaRosa, Jr.; Great-Grandchildren, Brody Perry, Branson Jones, Kambryn Hancock, and Landrie Perkins; and two Great-Grandchildren on the way; along with numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other family and friends whom she dearly loved.
