Patricia Broussard

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Patricia Broussard, after a long and courageous battle with COPD and its complications. Patricia passed away on July 27, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on July 7, 1949, she was the daughter of Clarence Joseph Monceaux and Jewel Gregory Monceaux. Pat was a devoted wife of 56 years, a loving mother, sister, nanny, cherished friend, and proud dog mom. She poured her love into everything she did, whether it was tending to her flowers, spending time on the front porch chatting with family, or caring for her beloved fur babies. Her love was boundless, her faith unwavering. With a laugh that could light up any room and a spirit that radiated warmth, she shared the word of the Lord freely, believing deeply that there wasn’t anything prayer couldn’t fix.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Leroy Broussard, her daughter Dusty Broussard, and her son Corey Broussard. She was preceded in death by her father CJ Monceaux, mother Jewel Monceaux Davis, brother Rick East, and nephew Troy Monceaux.

Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the faith she carried. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025, at Bridge City United Pentecostal Church in Orange, Texas.

Visitation will begin prior to the service 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025, at Bridge City United Pentecostal Church in Orange, Texas.

Mrs. Pat was my bus driver in School. She was kind, and laughed alot but was also strict when need be. She loved all of us like her own. We talked not too long ago and even though she had just got out of the hospital she was still smiling and laughing. She will definately be missed. Prayers of peace and comfort for all of her family and friends.
