Patricia Carol Frederick, 85, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 13, 2018, in Orange.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Ed Rawls. Burial will follow at King Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 12:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Caney, Oklahoma, on May 12, 1933, she was the daughter of Thomas Laney Massey and Vera Ethyl Blaylock Massey. Patricia was a superb and tough mother who had the challenge of raising four men. Her most cherished job was being able to provide a warm home for her family and make sure they had everything they needed. She loved her Lord and Savior and was active in church at Harvest Chapel, where she was a Secretary. Patricia was a simple woman who loved being a homemaker, fishing, and above all else her family. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles E. Frederick, Sr.; parents, Thomas and Vera Massey; brothers, Thomas L. Massey, II, and Verlon R. Massey; and sisters, Walsie Smith, JoAnn Hulen, and Faye Massey.

She is survived by her children, Charles E. Frederick, Jr. and wife Linda of Orange, Douglas W. Frederick and wife Lynette of Orange, Billy E. Frederick and wife Beverly of Orange, and Mark A. Frederick and wife Casey of Lumberton; grandchildren, Matthew Frederick, John Frederick, Kimberly Bogs, Joshua Frederick, Michelle Prosper, Doug Frederick II, Michelle Dobranski, Luke Frederick, Tyler Frederick, Sky Frederick, Mason Frederick, Levi Frederick, Laney Luckie, Lauren Struwe, and Lia Parker; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Billie J. Burge and Delores Massey; and brothers, Stanley Massey, and Winfred E. Massey.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Frederick, Mason Frederick, Luke Frederick, Tyler Frederick, Doug Frederick, and John Frederick.
